I’m a freelance graphic designer, based in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Born and raised here, I went to university straight out of high school. Like many 17-year-olds, the decision of what to do with the rest of my life was lost on me. I went to Memorial University with the intention of becoming a French teacher, and emerged with a degree in International Business (with a focus in marketing). From there, I spent a year working as a production assistant for a marketing firm in St John’s, and it was there that I fell in love with the creative process involved in marketing.
So I packed up my PT Cruiser (stick shift, of course), took my cat, and moved to Charlottetown, PEI where I completed a two year diploma in graphic design. Since then I’ve come to specialize in branding for small businesses, as well as overflow work for agencies; but I accept any and all design related projects.
Among my other passions are reading, cats, hiking, traveling, and true crime podcasts. My favourite thing is starting my Monday mornings with a strong coffee and a good challenge. I love what I do, and that will reflect in the work we do together.
Thanks for stopping by.
